Our April membership meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2020 and will feature a presentation by Jon Stravers. Jon will give a presentation about his Red-shouldered Hawk and Cerulean Warbler research projects that he has been working on for many years. He will give an update on these projects and other initiatives that he is working on. This meeting will be a Zoom meeting. Check the calendar on the meeting day to access a link to the meeting.

Theresa O' Connor Amberson has created a Birding With Kids Facebook Group to encourage parents with children to get their kids interested in the outdoors. If you are a parent or grandparent of young children, we encourage you to join and take part in the discussion and activities. The first group activity will be a birding trip at Goose Island County park just south of La Crosse. It will take place from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Please RSVP via the Facebook Group if you would like to participate. The group may visit a playground after the event for further outdoor activity. The March meeting will take place at 7:00 PM on March 16, 2022 and will feature a presentation by Krysten Zummo of the Mississippi Valley Conservancy. Come learn how a local land trust is working to create protected habitat corridors with the help of birds as a conservation catalyst. This meeting will be a Zoom meeting.
